CSUSB National Security Studies

Program Information:

IC Scholars must participate in 4 (minimum) CSU-ACE sponsored events each year.

IC Scholars are eligible for Summer Intensive Language Study.

Minimum GPA:

3.0 for graduate and undergraduate students.

Master of Arts in National Security Studies

Requirements

Student should purchase a CSUSB Bulletin during the Academic Year they are accepted into the M.A. program for the requirements and obligations.

Students are strongly encouraged to take a course of study in a second language. A second language, particularly in a strategic language with a high degree of proficiency, can receive a hiring bonus; but any competency in a second language can make the student more attractive to federal agencies. Language study does not count towards graduate credit.

The Master of Arts in National Security Studies is a professionally oriented, interdisciplinary, graduate-level program housed within the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. The program is intended for evening students, primarily and, therefore, classes are predominantly 6:00-10:00 pm.

Master of Science in National Cyber Security Studies

Requirements

Student should purchase a CSUSB Bulletin during the Academic Year they are accepted into the M.S. program for the requirements and obligations.

The Master of Science in National Cyber Security Studies will prepare students for careers in the new and growing field of cyber security.

Certificate of Intelligence Methodology

Pre-requisite: Graduate Standing

Certificate may be earned by regularly matriculated or extended learning students and denote successful completion of a prescribed program of study designed to impart specified professional/vocational/career competencies; or produce mastery of the content of a sub-field of an academic major (discipline); or provide exposure to the range of material in a traditional or emerging interdisciplinary field.

Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology - Intelligence Option

You will graduate with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a concentration in a specialty area. In addition to general education courses you must complete core courses and concentration course requirements to earn your degree.
